Ontario Lawn Care Service Agreement + Refund Policy

By booking service, approving an estimate, or making payment, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Seasonal Service Agreement

Seasonal lawn care packages are offered for the full service season and may include recurring grass cutting, trimming, edging, and related maintenance from approximately April to October, weather permitting.

Customers purchasing a seasonal package are reserving labour availability, route scheduling, equipment capacity, and priority service for the season.

2. Payment Terms

Customers may choose:

• Full seasonal payment in advance, or

• Monthly payments as agreed in writing.

All invoices are due on the stated due date. Late payments may result in paused service until payment is received.

3. Refund Policy

Because seasonal services require route planning, staffing, fuel, equipment allocation, and reserved service capacity:

• All seasonal contracts are final and non-refundable once the season has begun or service has commenced.

• Monthly payments made toward a seasonal contract are non-refundable after service start date.

• Cancellation by the customer does not create entitlement to repayment of amounts already paid.

• Any services already completed but unpaid remain immediately due.

4. Early Cancellation by Customer

If the customer chooses to stop service before the end of the agreed season:

• No refund will be issued for prior payments.

• Remaining contract balance may become due if discounted seasonal pricing was provided in exchange for full-season commitment.

5. Weather / Delays

Services may be delayed, skipped, or rescheduled due to:

• Rain

• Excessive heat

• Unsafe ground conditions

• Equipment breakdown

• Circumstances beyond our control

Missed visits due to weather may be rescheduled or combined with the next regular visit at our discretion. Refunds are not issued for weather-related schedule adjustments.

6. Access to Property

Customer must provide safe and clear access to the property, including unlocked gates, removal of obstacles (including kids toys, animal feces, etc.), pet control, and hazard-free work areas.

If service cannot be completed due to blocked access, the visit may still be charged.

7. Property Damage / Hidden Objects

We are not responsible for damage caused by hidden or unmarked items in grass or yard areas including:

• Sprinkler heads

• Toys

• Wires

• Rocks

• Garden décor

• Pet items

Customers are responsible for clearing the lawn prior to service.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

If there is a legitimate workmanship issue, customer must notify us within 24 hours of service. We may inspect and, where appropriate, return to address the concern.

Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued solely at company discretion.

9. Chargebacks / Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact JK Property Maintenance first to resolve billing concerns before initiating a cash or etransfer chargeback or payment dispute.

False or improper disputes may be pursued with supporting documentation including this agreement, messages, invoices, and service records.

10. Right to Refuse / Terminate Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service for:

• Unsafe conditions

• Aggressive behaviour

• Repeated late payment

• Harassment

• Inaccessible property

• Repeated unreasonable complaints

No refund will be owed where termination results from customer breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable Canadian law.

Customer Acceptance

By booking service, paying an invoice, or accepting recurring service, the customer confirms acceptance of these terms.
